Markdown is supported when you edit text for messages such as event confirmation message or email notification templates.
In this example below, when you add markdown to a phone number, guests can click on the phone number which would open in your default phone app:
- Click on the button
Confirmation Message
, then add your phone number. - Highlight the phone number, then click on
Link
- Enter
tel:
, then the phone number (Note: there is no space betweentel:
and the phone number). - Don't forget to click on
Save Changes
when you are done. - When you click on the phone number, the default phone app is triggered and guests can call the number right away.
Similarly, if you add markdown to an email address, when guests click on the email, the default email app would be triggered and opened up.
- Click on the button
Confirmation Message
, then add your phone number. - Highlight the email address, then click on
Link
- Enter
mailto:
, then the email address (Note: there is no space betweenmailto:
and the email). - Don't forget to click on
Save Changes
when you are done. - When you click on the email, the default email app would open up right away.
